Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes within Kentucky and surrounding states
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain accurate electronic logging
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs promptly
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately and on time
- Maintain professional conduct representing company values at all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices and basic navigation technology
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Commitment to safety excellence and defensive driving practices
