Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles over 26,000 lbs in compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes across Texas and regional states
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication
- Adhere to strict delivery deadlines and quality standards
- Utilize GPS technology for real-time navigation and route optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Texas roadways and weather conditions
- Basic mechanical aptitude for minor roadside repairs
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for overnight regional trips (1-3 nights/week)
- Must be 25+ years of age with proof of citizenship
