Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) across designated regional routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs per DOT regulations
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Adapt to changing delivery schedules and prioritize time-sensitive shipments
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication
- Utilize GPS technology for efficient route navigation and delivery confirmation
- Report maintenance issues and safety concerns immediately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (pre-employment and random)
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and basic GPS systems
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
