Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to transport goods across Northern California
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and DOT regulations at all times
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and securement techniques
- Complete required paperwork and electronic logging system entries
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with California roadways and delivery zones
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Electronic logging system (ELD) experience preferred
- hazmat endorsement a plus
