Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (box trucks, reefers, flatbeds) within NYC metropolitan area
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and DOT regulations
- Complete pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Handle hazardous materials shipments (Hazmat certification preferred)
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Familiarity with NYC traffic patterns and parking regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Twic card and Hazmat endorsement (strongly preferred)
