Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for weekend delivery routes across Arizona
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Load/unload freight with precision using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs (ELD)
- Provide exceptional customer service during route stops and deliveries
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Report mechanical issues and coordinate vehicle maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (required)
- Knowledge of Arizona highways and delivery zones
- Flexibility to work Saturdays/Sundays with occasional holidays
- Basic smartphone proficiency for ELD and communication apps
