Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for weekend deliveries across the Bay Area
- Execute efficient route planning to meet strict delivery timelines
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle documentation
- Handle secure cargo loading/unloading with precision and care
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Utilize GPS technology for real-time navigation and delivery tracking
- Communicate proactively with dispatch teams regarding route conditions
- Represent Prime Logistics professionally with all client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency in using electronic logging devices and fleet management systems
- Strong knowledge of Bay Area roadways and delivery zones
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts) with flexibility for occasional weekday coverage
