Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for weekend deliveries across Albuquerque and surrounding areas
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate trip logs per FMCSA regulations
- Load/unload freight using proper equipment and securement techniques
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding delivery status and route adjustments
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and defensive driving practices
- Collaborate with warehouse staff for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Report maintenance issues and ensure vehicle cleanliness
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with FMCSA regulations and HAZMAT certification (preferred)
- Ability to work flexible weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday)
- Strong knowledge of Albuquerque metro area and regional routes
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills
