Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for weekend deliveries and local routes
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and FMCSA regulations
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Assist in training new drivers during weekday hours
- Represent the company professionally in all client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Austin metro area and Texas highways
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility to work weekends (Sat/Sun) with weekday availability
- DOT medical certification current
