Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers on Miami roadways and regional delivery routes.
- Perform comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight distribution and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and route changes.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the cab and cargo area at all times.
- Uphold high standards of customer service and professional conduct.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL license required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no serious violations.
- Current DOT Medical Card and ability to pass a drug screen.
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to work weekends and flexible hours as required.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and reporting.
