Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Safely operate commercial vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Load & Unload: Accurately load, secure, and unload cargo using appropriate equipment.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs, delivery receipts, and all required paperwork in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Route Management: Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel at delivery and pickup locations.
Qualifications
- CDL License: Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B) required.
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of driving experience preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Friday - Sunday) consistently.
- Medical Card: Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) must be current.
- Background Check: Clean driving record and pass background checks.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills.
