Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to transport goods within Wichita metro area
- Maintain meticulous delivery logs and compliance with DOT regulations
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with dispatch team for optimal route efficiency
- Ensure secure loading/unloading of hazardous materials when required
- Represent the company professionally with all clients and partners
- Participate in quarterly safety training and certification updates
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Hazmat endorsement (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Kansas highway regulations
- Flexibility for occasional weekday coverage
- Pass background check and drug screening
