Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes in Washington
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Manage delivery documentation and ensure timely, accurate order fulfillment
- Maintain professional customer service standards during client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Washington state traffic laws and regulations
- Proficiency in using electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
