Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to transport freight on scheduled routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo efficiently with proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Manage delivery documentation and paperwork accurately
- Maintain professional conduct and represent company values in all interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety compliance
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Flexibility for irregular hours including nights and weekends
