Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) across NYC metropolitan routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain accurate trip logs
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Deliver goods on time while navigating complex urban traffic patterns
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Maintain clean driving record and safety compliance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable truck driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with NYC traffic patterns and delivery zones
- Basic understanding of freight handling and securement
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Flexibility for early morning/evening shifts
