Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed)
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes while meeting delivery deadlines
- Complete accurate pre/post-trip inspections and documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Maintain clean driving record and logbook compliance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient in electronic logging device (ELD) usage
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Familiarity with NYC traffic patterns and regulations
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
