Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed)
- Execute multi-state deliveries with GPS-optimized routing
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain electronic logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch for real-time load updates
- Secure cargo according to industry standards
- Resolve delivery exceptions with professionalism
- Participate in quarterly safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean 3-year MVR
- 1+ year OTR or regional experience
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred (training provided)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient in ELD systems and route navigation
- Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexible schedule including weekends/overnights
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
