Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers for regional deliveries
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Adhere strictly to HOS regulations and DOT compliance
- Deliver freight to designated locations on time
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling
- Represent Swift professionally at all customer sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Knowledgeable of regional road networks
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for overnight regional routes
- Strong safety orientation and customer service skills
