Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) safely and efficiently on local and regional delivery routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B (We offer training for qualified candidates).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Basic mechanical aptitude to handle minor vehicle issues on the road.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
