Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (tractors, trailers) throughout Southern California
- Load/unload freight using pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided)
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Deliver freight to commercial and residential locations
- Utilize GPS technology for efficient route navigation
- Communicate with dispatch team and customers professionally
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for weight calculations and paperwork
- Willingness to complete paid CDL training program
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Comfortable working in outdoor weather conditions
- Must be at least 21 years old
