Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Commercial Vehicles: Drive trucks to deliver freight across the region while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Conduct Inspections: Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load & Unload Cargo: Secure freight properly and assist with loading and unloading trailers to prevent damage.
- Maintain Records: Keep accurate logs of driving hours, miles driven, and delivery status using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD).
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients at delivery points, ensuring satisfaction and resolving any issues promptly.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Report mechanical issues immediately and perform basic maintenance checks as required.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL License: Possess a valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Clean Driving Record: Must have a clean driving history with no serious traffic violations.
- Age Requirement: Be at least 21 years old to operate a commercial vehicle across state lines.
- Ability to Pass Drug Screen: Must pass a DOT-approved drug and alcohol screening.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb in and out of the cab, and sit for extended periods.
- No Experience Required: We provide on-the-job training for qualified candidates with a clean record.
