Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for freight transport across Kentucky and surrounding states
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and comply with DOT regulations
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and delivery scheduling
- Ensure secure loading/unloading of freight using proper equipment
- Represent Louisville Logistics with professionalism in customer interactions
- Participate in ongoing safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Willingness to complete paid CDL training program
- Basic math skills for load documentation and mileage tracking
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexible schedule including overnight trips and weekends
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety standards
