Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across Ohio and neighboring states
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to all federal (FMCSA) and state transportation regulations
- Assist with loading/unloading cargo when required
- Represent Midwest Logistics Solutions professionally at all customer interaction points
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B) or commitment to obtain through our training program
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of vehicle operation and maintenance
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to work independently while following company protocols
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent required
