Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional deliveries within Riverside and surrounding areas
- Manage efficient route planning to meet delivery deadlines and optimize fuel usage
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, paperwork, and electronic tracking systems
- Ensure vehicle compliance with DOT regulations and perform pre/post-trip inspections
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Coordinate with dispatch team for load assignments and schedule adjustments
- Handle basic maintenance documentation and coordinate service appointments
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable box truck or straight truck experience
- Own or have reliable access to a DOT-compliant box truck (26' or larger)
- Strong knowledge of Riverside/Southern California geography
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds repeatedly during loading/unloading
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills and maintenance awareness
- Excellent time management and communication abilities
- Commercial liability insurance ($1M minimum coverage)
