Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to federal and state traffic regulations and safety protocols
- Load and unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and report any incidents or accidents immediately
- Complete required documentation including delivery receipts and mileage logs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of vehicle safety inspections
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
