Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (tractor-trailers) during night shifts
- Transport goods between Washington DC and Georgia terminals
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Maintain clean driving record and vehicle maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to work independently during night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM)
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Physical ability to load/unift cargo up to 50 lbs
- Flexibility for occasional weekend shifts
- Pass background check and drug screening
