Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers in a safe and efficient manner, strictly adhering to all traffic laws.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle readiness and safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads per DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging devices (ELD) within federal regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and company policies to maintain a 0-accident record.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A or Class B) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Must be available to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by the schedule.
- Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience is preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and background check.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
