Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles for night shift deliveries across Los Angeles County
- Pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintenance documentation compliance
- Load/unload freight using pallet jacks and forklifts (certification provided)
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and HOS protocols
- Navigate high-traffic urban routes with GPS and real-time traffic monitoring
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and digital manifests
- Communicate with dispatch team and clients during critical night operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR or local driving experience
- Clean MVR with no DUIs or major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred (training available)
- Knowledge of LA metro area and surrounding counties
- Flexibility for occasional weekend shifts during peak seasons
