Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and local routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Accurately maintain delivery logs and electronic records
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipments
- Ensure timely delivery of goods while maintaining quality standards
- Represent Delta Logistics with professionalism in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in using electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of Louisiana roadways and delivery zones
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
