Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL required) for long-haul and regional routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance documentation
- Load/unload cargo with precision using proper equipment and techniques
- Maintain accurate trip logs, delivery records, and mileage reports
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes and delays
- Represent Swift Logistics professionally with customers at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong navigation skills with familiarity with electronic logging devices
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- No preventable accidents in last 3 years
- Flexibility for overnight trips and weekend schedules
