We are looking for reliable, safety-conscious drivers to join our growing team in the Milwaukee area.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers in a safe and efficient manner at all times.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and document findings accurately.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques to ensure safety.
- Maintain accurate driver logs (ELD/Logbook) and strictly comply with DOT regulations.
- Navigate complex routes and manage time effectively to meet delivery deadlines.
- Communicate regularly with dispatch and customers regarding cargo status and any delays.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the vehicle interior and exterior at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and mandatory drug screen.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety regulations, and road conditions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays if needed.
- U.S. work authorization and ability to pass a standard background check.
