Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles (dry vans/reefers) following DOT regulations
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes within Louisville metro and KY region
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and defensive driving practices
- Represent Louisville Logistics Solutions professionally at client sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of KY roadways and DOT regulations
- Excellent time management and route planning abilities
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Flexibility for early morning starts and occasional overtime
