Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles in strict adherence to DOT and FMCSA regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and weight distribution according to safety standards.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and daily logbooks.
- Navigate efficiently through traffic and varying road conditions to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickups and deliveries.
- Keep the truck and cargo area clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Must possess a current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate and a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and cargo handling procedures.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends, if necessary.
