Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently in all weather conditions.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload freight using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Report any mechanical issues or safety hazards immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of road maps and ability to navigate various routes.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if necessary.
