Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles in accordance with all state and federal regulations.
- Load and unload freight efficiently while ensuring cargo security.
- Verify load details against shipping manifests and perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and daily logs.
- Navigate routes professionally to meet delivery deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A or B) required.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Clean driving record with no major violations within the last 3-5 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic math skills and ability to read maps and GPS systems.
