Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or Class B) safely and efficiently in accordance with all FMCSA and company regulations.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securement and weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies to ensure zero accidents.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) issued by the state of Texas.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical) and a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
