Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers on local and regional delivery routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all packages are secured properly.
- Maintain accurate logs, records, and delivery paperwork in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and delivery issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state of California.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial setting.
- Current DOT medical card and DOT drug screening clearance.
- Ability to pass a background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) review.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
