Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (trucks/trailers) following DOT regulations
- Transport freight between Philadelphia, PA, and Virginia routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and delivery
- Ensure secure loading/unloading of diverse cargo types
- Adapt to changing schedules and delivery time constraints
- Maintain clean vehicle appearance and mechanical functionality
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (required)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Philadelphia/Virginia highway systems
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Twic card preferred (not required)
