Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, reefers, flatbeds) in Miami-Dade County and beyond
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain meticulous trip logs
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Document delivery receipts and handle cargo securely
- Participate in ongoing safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Miami traffic patterns and Florida highways
- Hazmat endorsement preferred (training provided)
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Must be 21+ years old with US work authorization
