Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul and local freight delivery
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Optimize routes for timely delivery in the greater LA metro area
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Ensure secure handling of diverse cargo types
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with GPS navigation and electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
