Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles on assigned routes.
- Perform comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and unload cargo with attention to safety and efficiency.
- Comply with all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Previous driving experience is preferred, but qualified candidates without experience will be considered.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to handle minor roadside issues.
- Strong time management and navigation skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
