Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van/refrigerated) delivering cargo to regional destinations
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling techniques
- Resolve delivery exceptions and communicate with clients professionally
- Utilize GPS systems for real-time navigation and traffic management
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- 1+ years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement and weight distribution
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Flexibility for occasional overnight travel
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
