Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local and regional deliveries
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Inspect, maintain, and report vehicle conditions pre/post-trip
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Document delivery logs and maintain accurate paperwork
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Collaborate with warehouse team for loading/unloading efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of San Jose Bay Area road networks
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Flexibility for early morning start times
- Previous logistics or freight experience preferred
