Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (trucks/trailers) in compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes while maintaining strict deadlines
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance requirements
- Manage cargo loading/unloading with precision and care
- Utilize GPS technology for real-time route optimization
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficient in electronic logging device (ELD) systems
- Knowledge of Houston metro area and Texas highway systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
