Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes within Florida
- Maintain meticulous DOT compliance and daily vehicle inspection reports
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization and on-time deliveries
- Handle secure cargo documentation and inventory management procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Adhere to strict HOS regulations and all federal/state transportation laws
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation software
- Strong knowledge of Florida roadways and hazardous materials handling (if applicable)
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
