Responsibilities
- Operate tractor-trailers for regional routes within Kentucky and surrounding states
- Ensure safe, on-time delivery of freight while adhering to DOT regulations
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipments
- Implement defensive driving practices in all weather conditions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible hours
- Strong knowledge of KY traffic laws and route navigation
- Excellent safety record and compliance focus
- Must be available for immediate start
