Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for regional and long-haul routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Ensure timely delivery of temperature-sensitive and high-value freight
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and roadside assistance
- Operate advanced telematics systems for route optimization
- Participate in ongoing safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with HazMat endorsement (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Knowledge of NM and regional transportation corridors
