Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, flatbed) across Louisiana and Gulf Coast
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance logs
- Load/unload cargo using appropriate equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts)
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and communicate with dispatch
- Maintain clean driving record and follow all FMCSA regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with air brake endorsement
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Louisiana roadways and weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
