Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments when required
- Represent Valley Transport Solutions professionally at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of California roadways and regulations
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside troubleshooting
- Flexibility to work weekends and overnight shifts
- Excellent time management and communication skills
