Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to transport goods across Texas and surrounding states
- Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections ensuring compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging systems
- Collaborate with dispatch team for optimal route planning and on-time deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service at all delivery points
- Adhere to all safety protocols and defensive driving practices
- Report mechanical issues and coordinate maintenance schedules
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of Houston metropolitan area and Texas highways
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication and time management skills
